Update on the Zeitoun Family

The Zeitouns are overwhelmed with the outpouring of kindness they’ve received from readers in the wake of the book’s publication. They report that business is slow but steady. The girls are happy to be back in school but baby Ahmed (nicknamed “Hamudi”) is missing all the attention from his three big sisters. They have a new cat that Kathy isn’t overly fond of. Next month, Abdulrahman will take his first trip back to Syria in six years to see his family.
