LA Council on American-Islamic Relations to honor Zeitoun
The Zeitoun Foundation is thrilled to announce that the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Greater Los Angeles Area will honor Zeitoun on Saturday, November 7th.

By articulating the life experiences of American citizen Abdulrahman Zeitoun and his efforts to assist Katrina victims, you have helped humanize an entire minority – American Muslims – and shed light on their love for and contributions to our country. Eight years after 9/11, American Muslims still face discrimination and harassment while also struggling to educate their neighbors about Islam. Efforts of activists like you have, however, served as a significant boost in bringing American Muslims closer to our fellow Americans.
