Director Jonathan Demme plans animated movie of Zeitoun

Director Jonathan Demme (Rachel Getting Married, Silence of the
Lambs) is teaming up with Dave Eggers and the Zeitoun Family to turn the book into an animated feature film. The Zeitoun Foundation is so honored to have received a donation from Demme to option the rights and will be distributing its next round of grants in the coming weeks.
