Zeitoun to be awarded by Muslim Public Affairs Council

On May 1st, Dave Eggers will be awarded the Muslim Public Affair Council’s Media Award for Zeitoun. The award honors, “the ability of the artist to conjure emotion, challenge deeply held ideas, and inspire thought and action are unmatchable. For this reason, MPAC honors voices of courage and conscience that use art and media to create thought-provoking, enriching and humanizing portrayals of Islam and Muslims.”
